STEM Teachers’ Conference – 26/27 June 2013

This summer The University of Manchester will be hosting a free CPD event for secondary and post-16 teachers of Maths and Sciences with the aim of passing on the spark of inspiration.

We will be running two events, on 26 and 27 June for STEM Teachers and other professionals involved in the teaching of Maths and Sciences. The 26 June will have a Chemistry/Biology focus; the 27 June a Maths/Physics focus. Both events are free, and will include a Keynote lecture (Prof Dame Nancy Rothewell on 26th, Dr Tim O’Brien 27th) as well as interactive workshops from current researchers.

Although there is no charge for these events, registration is essential, and is now open – you can find full details and a booking form online here: http://www.manchester.ac.uk/undergraduate/schoolsandcolleges/secondary/stem/stem-teachersconference/. You are welcome to attend both days, however please complete a separate registration form for each day.  Registration is due to close on Friday 22 March 2013.  If you have any further queries please contact amy.foster@manchester.ac.uk, 0161 275 1520.
